Community Relations

The management of the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility holds the belief that community service serves a bigger purpose than just to those benefiting from the assistance. We are committed to being a good neighbor as well as an integral part of the community. The employees who volunteer their time both personally and on behalf of the Facility grow from their experiences with community involvement. Some of the most recent community activities that Wyatt has been involved in or contributed to are: organizing and conducting the First Annual Fall Harvest Food Drive last fall, participating in numerous events for the Special Olympics of RI, and participating in the First Annual Holiday Express event for CF residents and their families.

Future contributions to community relations are already underway for 2010. Wyatt is now the proud sponsor of a team for the CF Little League and a Gold Sponsor for the Annual Torch Run for the Special Olympics of RI. More events will be planned for months to come.
